Monday Morning Thoughts

There seemed to be an awesome spirit in our worship service yesterday morning. 

• It never gets tiring watching people stepping out and seeking God’s face during an invitation.   There must have been 20 people down at the front yesterday morning praying for GOd to move!  AWESOME!
• Every member IS a minister.  God has a HUGE plan for everyone who follows him.  It’s our responsibility as believers to help each other determine exactly what that looks like and then encourage one another to GET AFTER IT!
• I can’t stand people who call themselves children of God who would rather make the effort to cut down, steal joy and destroy lives and reputations of other believers rather than pick up, celebrate joy and build lives and reputations of other believers for the benefit of God’s KINGDOM!  It’s just not right!  For the people that are like that, (and you know who you are!) I would like to just give a word of encouragement……..(FIND SOMETHING BETTER TO DO WITH YOUR TIME!  QUIT TRYING TO DESTROY GOD’S PEOPLE GET ON YOUR FACE BEFORE GOD, REPENT AND BEG FOR A HUGE PORTION OF HIS FORGIVENESS, GET BACK ON YOUR FEET AND GET BUSY DOING THINGS THAT ARE PROFITABLE FOR HIS KINGDOM!!!)   I’m glad I’m not responsible for their actions, (my flesh wants to punch their lights out), but I know that THE RIGHTEOUS ONE will take care of them.  (and I don’t think it’s something very desirable!)
• As I read over that last bullet point I thought hmmmm………sounds alot like this verse!!   Uh, I don’t want to be included in that kind of company!  YIKES!
• Be praying for 6 girls and a few adults who are attending camp this week at Camp  LaVida……. LaVida actually means   “98 degrees with no air conditioning!”   (just Kidding) it actually means “THE LIFE!”  Let’s pray that our girls will experience real life in JESUS this week as they are at camp.
• By the way, I’m dead serious about the 3rd bullet point!
• Next week our entire church is going to camp.  Some will actually be staying the whole week, others will come down during the day and go back home at night.    I’ve never been a part of anything like that, but I’m extremely interested in the idea and am anxious to see God move in an EXTRAORDINARY way!   I’m going to buy an ample amount of OFF!
• Alot of famous people died last week…….that seems a bit odd.  M.J., F.F., E.M, and W.C. is about to die…..(if you can figure out the initials, you’ll know who I’m talking about)…………Just ready for J.C. to come for me any day…….. the sooner the better!  EVEN SO COME LORD JESUS!
